Tax Practitioner Registration
Section 240 (Registration of Tax Practitioners) of the Tax Administration Act of 2011, requires anyone who provides advice in respect of a tax Act (i.e. Customs) or who completes or assists in completing a document to be submitted to SARS, must be registered with SARS as a Tax Practitioner. Such registrations are required to be performed through a Controlling Body such as the SAIT.

Professional Indemnity Cover
The Customs Hub holds Professional Indemnity covers at two levels namely:

Contractual and Non-Disclosure Agreements are required for larger contracts in order to conform to Professional Indemnity Policy requirements.
